A conventional bottom dump truck includes doors which in a closed position are suspended underneath the bottom opening of the hopper of the trailer. The doors are opened outwardly and upwardly by pivotal action about an upper suspension point of each of the doors. The amount of movement of the door is limited by an abutment member mounted upon a vertical flange on the outside surface of the hopper bottom. The abutment member includes an abutment plate extending outwardly from the flange together with a bracket which has a slot slidable along the length of the flange and locatable at different points along the length of the flange by a pin passing through openings in the bracket and one of a plurality of openings in the flange. The flange can be rotated about an axis longitudinal of the flange to move the abutment member out of the path of the abutment on the door and simultaneously to move a second abutment member into engagement with the door which is positioned at the maximum allowable opening of the door.
Camion à déchargement par le fond conventionnel comprenant des portes qui, lorsque fermées, sont suspendues sous l'ouverture inférieure de la trémie de la remorque. Les portes s'ouvrent vers l'extérieur et vers le haut par une action pivotante sur un point de suspension supérieur au niveau de chaque porte. L'ouverture des portes est limitée par un élément de butée fixé sur une bride verticale qui se trouve sur la surface extérieure du fond de la trémie. L'élément de butée comprend une plaque de butée qui s'étend vers l'extérieur de la bride ainsi qu'un support avec fente qui glisse le long de la bride et peut être fixé à différents endroits le long de la bride à l'aide d'une goupille qui entre dans des ouvertures sur le support et dans une des différentes ouvertures sur la bride. La bride peut être tournée sur un axe longitudinal par rapport à elle-même pour déplacer l'élément de butée afin que la butée de la porte ne vienne pas s'y appuyer et pour simultanément placer un deuxième élément de butée sur lequel viendra s'appuyer la butée de la porte, ce deuxième élément de butée étant placé au niveau de l'ouverture maximale permise de la porte.
