Apparatus for recovering thermal energy escaping through a wall structure. The apparatus comprising a wall structure (2) provided with a thermal energy recovery layer, the thermal energy recovery layer having an arrangement of one or more air breathable sections provided adjacent one or more non-air breathable sections. Rising or falling air (3) at an outer surface of the wall structure (2) passes over the one or more non-air breathable sections to collect escaping hot or cold thermal energy before passing through the one or more breathable sections to thereby be recovered. Further provided is an air collection means (4) for collecting warmed air rising up or cold air flowing down an external wall of said building. The air collection means comprising a tapering converging guide member extending outwardly from the building's wall (2) for collecting and directing rising or falling air into the building.
L'invention porte sur un appareil pour récupérer de l'énergie thermique s'échappant par une structure de paroi. L'appareil comprend une structure de paroi (2) comportant une couche de récupération d'énergie thermique, la couche de récupération d'énergie thermique ayant un agencement d'une ou plusieurs sections perméables à l'air disposées de manière adjacente à une ou plusieurs sections non perméables à l'air. De l'air s'élevant ou descendant (3) au niveau d'une surface externe de la structure de paroi (2) passe sur la ou les sections non perméables à l'air pour collecter l'énergie thermique chaude ou froide s'échappant avant de passer à travers la ou les sections perméables à l'air, de façon à ce qu'elle soit ainsi récupérée. Il est en outre prévu un moyen de collecte d'air (4) pour collecter l'air réchauffé s'élevant ou l'air froid s'écoulant vers le bas d'une paroi externe dudit bâtiment. Le moyen de collecte d'air comprend un élément de guidage convergeant et à effilement, s'étendant vers l'extérieur à partir de la paroi (2) du bâtiment pour collecter et diriger l'air s'élevant ou descendant dans le bâtiment.
