A bow-mounted archery quiver having a twin-hood design provides improved noise reduction and balance features. Arrows are held in a vertical position and may be removed in either of two directions relative to the archer. An arrow-holding element is formed from an elastomeric material, preferably a viscoelastic polyurethane elastomer. The quiver is provided with an offset configuration so as not to interfere with operation of the bow. The quiver may be mounted to the side of the handle riser of a bow, using a dovetail mounting arrangement. A quick release mechanismallows for positive one-hand push-button release of the quiver from the archery bow.
La présente invention fait état d'un carquois monté sur un arc. Le carquois est du type à deux capuchons et présente des caractéristiques améliorées de réduction de bruit et d'équilibre. Les flèches sont maintenues en position verticale et peuvent être enlevées dans l'une ou l'autre de deux directions par rapport à l'archer. Un dispositif d'ancrage de flèches est fabriqué dans un matériau élastomérique, constitué de préférence d'un élastomère polyuréthane viscoélastique. Le carquois a une forme décalée afin de ne pas gêner la manipulation de l'arc et peut se fixer au côté vertical de la poignée de l'arc au moyen d'un assemblage à queue d'aronde. Un mécanisme à déclenchement rapide permet de retirer le carquois d'une seule main, en appuyant sur un bouton.
