ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A bowling pin is prepared by injection molding, a high impact polypropylene belly and, thereafter, in- serting into the belly a wood laminate core. The poly- propylene is utilized in the presence of a coupling agent and a blowing agent and is admixed with a filler. The products produced in accordance herewith are suitable replacements for existing wood bowling pins.
