A disposable box filter having a housing (21) comprising mating channel-shaped male (22) and female portions (23) defining a generally box-shaped fluid chamber, with a pair of fluid ports (30 and 53), and a filter element in corrugated shoe form (58) extending across the fluid chamber. The corrugated filter has generally vertically extending pleats (59) or extremities which are mechanically sealed at each end between a pair of vertical axially extending portions of the filter housing.

L'invention concerne un filtre en forme de boîte ayant un logement (21) constitué de portions accouplées mâle (22) et femelle (23) en forme de canal délimitant une chambre à fluide ayant la forme générale d'une boîte, avec une paire d'orifices pour le fluide (30 et 53) et un élément filtrant sous la forme d'une feuille ondulée (58) traversant la chambre à fluide. Le filtre ondulé a des ondulations disposées sensiblement verticalement (59) et des extrémités qui sont tenues mécaniquement d'une manière étanche sur les deux extrémités entre une paire de portions verticales du logement du filtre, s'étendant axialement.
