Abstract of the disclosure A box for disposing of used injection needles comprising a case having an opening whereinto a tip portion of a syringe is inserted, a movable member, and a fixed member, both members being arranged in the case. A hub of an injection needle inserted through the opening of the case is firmly held by holding portions of movable member and fixed member due to elasticity of the hub itself. The rotation of the syringe causes the injection needle to be removed from the syringe, and the removed injection needle, which is not pulled out together with the syringe and remained in the holding portions due to holding effect of the holding portions, can be dropped into the case by the operation of a rod outside the case.
