A foldable box includes a floor (2) having a fixed exterior wall area (18) extending upwards from the floor in vertical direction (8) and an exterior wall (6b) having a shaft arranged in a base area of the exterior wall (6b). A guide opening (54) is formed in the fixed exterior wall area (18) in which the shaft (50) is arranged and which comprises a lateral opening section (54b) extending in a basically lateral direction (12) from an outside of the fixed exterior wall area (18) inwards, in which the shaft (50) may be shifted. The fixed exterior wall area (18) comprises a contact surface (76) arranged here. A cam (52) is arranged in the base area of the fixed exterior wall area (6b) and comprises a cam contour which is implemented such that the cam contour, when erecting the exterior wall (6b), gets into contact with the contact surface (76) such that when exceeding a boundary angle (68) the shaft (50) is moved inwards into the lateral opening section (54b). After exceeding the boundary angle (68), thus by the effect of the shaft (50) or the cam (52) a bottom side (66) of the exterior wall (6b) is pressed against an internal edge area (90) of the fixed exterior wall area (18) by a first contact pressing force which is higher than a second contact pressing force by which the bottom side (66) of the exterior wall (6b) in the erected vertical position is pressed against a top side of the fixed exterior wall area (18) by the effect of the shaft (50) or the cam (52).

Après dépassement de l'angle limite (68), l'action de l'arbre (50) ou de la came (52) provoque une poussée d'une face inférieure (66) de la paroi latérale (6b) contre une zone d'arête (90) située vers l'intérieur de la zone de paroi latérale fixe (18), à raison d'une première force de poussée qui est supérieure à une seconde force de poussée sous l'effet de laquelle la face inférieure (66) de la paroi latérale (6b), en position verticale, est poussée contre une face supérieure de la zone de paroi latérale fixe (18), sous l'action de l'arbre (50) ou de la came (52).
