A stamped and folded steel sheet blank formed anti-lock braking system tone ring teeth monitoring sensor positioning bracket (10) is positioned by welded to vehicle axle positioning feet (22) at axle contacting foot edges (23). Bracket (10) includes a tubular portion (11) with sensor retaining sleeve holdable continuous opening (15). A pair of spaced apart rear legs (12) extend generally sidewardly downward from tubular portion (11) to the spaced apart parallel rearwardly extending feet (22).

L'invention concerne l'étrier de positionnement (10) du détecteur des dents de la couronne index d'un système de freinage anti-blocage. Cet étrier est fait d'une ébauche formée en tôle d'acier emboutie et pliée. Il est positionné soudé sur les béquilles de positionnement (22) de l'essieu de l'automobile au niveau des bords des béquilles (23) touchant l'essieu. L'étrier (10) comporte une partie tubulaire (11) dont une ouverture continue (15) permet d'accueillir le manchon de serrage du détecteur. Deux branches postérieures (12) écartées partent généralement latéralement en descendant de la partie tubulaire (11) jusqu'aux béquilles (22) parallèles qui sont écartées l'une de l'autre et tournées vers l'arrière.
