ABSTRACT Apparatus and method for installing and displaying exterior decorative lighting on a roof structure. The apparatus comprises a generally L-shaped bracket having an aperture for receiving a decorative bulb which is then operatively coupled to a socket in a string of decorative lights. The bracket is installed by inserting its base between shingles or other overlapping layers of a roof structure, and is maintained there by frictional engagement until manually removed.
