Abstract of the Disclosure The invention refers to a brake device for skate- boards, comprising rear wheel braking means, said means being disposed beneath said board, preferably behind said wheels, actuating means for braking, and connecting means for linking the two above means. Said means are arranged in such a manner that braking may be effected independently from the position of the board with reference to the ground, which eliminates any sudden braking, and the brakes apply uniformly in whatever instant position of the axle carrying the wheels.
