- 13 - ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A vehicle having air-brakes each with a pushrod provided with a monitoring system for monitoring the stroke adjustment of the pushrods. The monitoring system includes a switch adapted to be actuated by movement of each pushrod beyond a predetermined position and a display responsive to the actuation of any of the switch for providing a corresponding alarm signal. The display includes a display unit on a trailer for indicating faulty adjustment of any air-brake on the trailer and a display unit in the drivers cab for indicating any faulty air-brake on a truck or tractor and for indicating whether any fault is shown on the trailer display unit.
