Brake shoe (12) and use thereof. The brake shoe (12) serves for braking a cable (10), particularly in equipment for speed limitation of a lift. It comprises a brake lining (14) with an overall effective surface facing the cable (10) to be braked. The brake lining (14) is displaceable into an operative position in which its overall effective surface bears against the cable (10); it has at least two lining regions (14.1, 14.2, 14.3, 14.4, 14.5), wherein respectively adjacent lining regions comprise different materials. The at least two lining regions (14.1, 14.2, 14.3, 14.4, 14.5) in the operative position together bear by the effective surfaces thereof against the cable (10) so that different effective properties of the materials can be used at the same time.
Il s'agit d'un segment de frein (12) et de son utilisation. Ce segment de frein (12) sert à freiner un câble (10), en particulier d'un équipement destiné à la limitation de vitesse d'un élévateur. Il comprend une garniture de frein (14) avec un surface efficace totale faisant face au câble (10) à freiner. La garniture de frein (14) peut être déplacée en position de fonctionnement dans laquelle sa surface efficace totale prend appui contre le câble (10). Cette garniture comporte au moins deux régions (14.1, 14.2, 14.3, 14.4, 14.5) dont les régions de garniture respectivement contiguës comprennent des matériaux différents. Le nombre minimal de deux régions de garniture (14.1, 14.2, 14.3, 14.4, 14.5), en position de fonctionnement, appuient ensemble leurs surfaces efficaces contre le câble (10), de sorte que différentes propriétés efficaces des matériaux entrent en jeu simultanément.
