A device used to brake the wheels of inline skates, which comprises an inverted-U shaped slide above the wheels and free in the frame, can move toward the front and toward the rear of the skate frame, but bolts completely traverse it and penetrate slanted grooves, in one direction this allows the slide to come into contact with one or more wheels to effect braking and in the other direction to release one or more wheels.
