BRAKE TESTING APPARATUS ABSTRACT Two embodiments of a testing device for testing the hydraulic braking system of a motor vehicle. Each embodiment includes a supporting portion that is adapted to be fixed relative to a component of the vehicle in proximity to the brake pedal, such as the steering column and a force applying portion that is adapted to apply pressure to the brake pedal. Sensing means are provided that sense both the pressure applied to the brake pedal and the degree of travel of the brake pedal during a given time period.
