A braking device for roller skates including a boot (2) with a sole (3) connected to an upper plate (4) of a frame (5) to the bottom portion of which wheels (6) are mounted is disclosed. Said device consists of a friction element (13) arranged at one end of said frame (5), adjacent the ground, and is characterised in that said friction element (13) is coupled to the frame (5) by removable resilient locking means (15a) inserted between the element and the frame (5), either directly or by means of a support (14), to allow for the rapid attachment and release of the friction element (13) without the need for tools.
Dispositif de freinage d'un patin à roues comportant une chaussure (2) dont la semelle (3) est associée à une platine supérieure (4) d'un châssis (5) sur une partie inférieure duquel sont disposées les roues de patinage (6), lequel dispositif est constitué par un élément de friction (13) disposé à une extrémité dudit châssis (5) à proximité du sol, caractérisé en ce que l'élément de friction (13) est associé au châssis (5) par des moyens de verrouillage élastiques amovibles (15a) interposés entre ledit élément, directement ou par l'intermédiaire d'un support (14) et le châssis (5), de manière à autoriser un montage et un démontage rapide de l'élément de friction (13) sans outil.
