ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: The invention refers to a braking device used for the induction meters in order to make uniform the rotor motion. The device makes use of a permanent magnet (horse shoe) mounted on a magnetic flux concentrator that in its turn is mounted in the same magnetic support on a polar piece that switches the magnetic circuit and also serving as a support on which a regulating piece is mounted assuring a precise adjustement. The device is provided with a thermocompansating plate only for meters with an accurancy class lower than 2.
