ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A novel combination of brazing alloy and flux is provided herein. Specifically, such brazing material comprises a brazing alloy coated with a brazing flux, the coating further comprising polyisobutylene elastomer having a molecular weight of up to 125,000, the elastomer functioning to reduce the tendency of the flux coating to be brittle and consequently crack in transit or handling, These portions of the coating do not be- come detached from the rods, thereby reducing their usefulness and effec- tiveness.
