11 Title: "A BREAD SLICING MACHINE" ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE In a bread slicing machine of the type having a slicing assembly consisting of at least one pair of counter-reciprocating blade carrying frames, one in front of the other, each with a set of slicing blades, all blades being in spaced adjacent arrangement, those of one frame alternating with those of the other, loaves are fed in sequence to the slicing assembly through an arcuate passage defined by loaf guides, the passage opening above the slicing assembly and curving rearwards, downwards and forwards to the slicing assembly. A pusher is mounted for arcuate movement through the passage to ensure all loaves are pushed through the slicing assembly and onto a receiving table.
