With-in Canada and United States there are a great number of heavy duty trucks and tractor trailers driving at or above the posted highway speed limits and carrying heavy loads. Because of this the braking systems of these vehicles are subjected to extreme amounts of abuse. Canadian and U.S. jurisdictions have enacted laws making it mandatory for these braking systems to be checked on a regular basis. When starting on a daily basis the brakes must be checked before the unit is taken onto the highway. The invention gives the individual the tools needed to determine the type and size of air brake chambers used, the adjustment limits allowed, and whether the truck or tractor-trailer unit's braking system is with-in the legal limit and therefore can be legally driven on the highway system or put out of service.
