When about to give birth in a hospital, it is known that women are given a conventional hospital gown. In this invention, the standard hospital gown is reinvented to enable a mother to breastfeed her newborn. The following design includes a body portion with sleeves at each side. The body portion of the gown has an opening down the back that is closed by ties. In the front of the gown, the body portion covers the female's torso from the neckline downwards. A second front layer of the gown, called the privacy flap, extends downward from the neckline to approximately the female's waist and is sewn to the gown at two places: the neckline and where each sleeve meets the body portion in the front. The second layer forms a flap that covers four parallel openings that are found in the body portion of the gown. Once the flap is raised, a one size fits all design enables females of all sizes to access their breast(s) in order to breastfeed their newborn.
