ABSTRACT BREWING ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AND APPARATUS THEREFOR Apparatus for brewing beer and the like comprises several vessels of similar construction, each mounted on a plinth which is connectable in edge to edge relationship with the other plinths. Pumps, a cooling device, a manifold, and a refrigeration device are also mounted on a similar plinth. The apparatus is thus of modular form and is adaptable for any premises, and for any quantity of liquor production by addition or subtraction of vessels and associated pipework. The manifold has variable fluid flow connections therein so that the vessels and pumps can be selectively put in connection with each other for transferring the liquid from one vessel to another. Each vessel has a perforate floorabove a conical bottom and liquid outlet and one vessel has an electrical heater disposed therein.
