ABSTRACT There shall be a rectangular prism shaped block having the height of a face brick made of tinted or natural colour high density vibrated and compressed concrete with a hollow vertical core extending top to bottom of the block large enough topermit the passage of a flue liner. The lateral faces of this block shall have vertical grooves moulded and spaced as to cause a distinct three dimensional image of a course of face bricks mortared together with tooled joints. This block when laid in it's appropriate position, on a bed of mortar, a top a block of identical design, shall become part of a block chimney that is indistinguishable from a brick chimney.
