-14- ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Disclosed is a machine for making frozen confections wherein a plurality of mold bars, each having a plurality of cavities for containing confection material, have opposite ends connected to chains driven in a closed orbit having horizontal upper and lower reaches. When the mold bars traverse the upper reach the cavities are filled with confection material, sprayed with cold brine to freeze the confection material, provided with a stick and defrosted to remove a solidified confection.
