ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The bristle mounting is designed for cylindrical rotary brushes of sweeping machines and consists of a bristle- holding profile which can be pushed into a receptacle profile seated on the body of the cylinder. In order to seal the opening gap between the receptacle profile and the bristle-holding profile against the entry of sand and dirt particles there is affixed, on top of the upper guide shoulder (1) of the holding profile (2), a sealing plate (6) which extends along the whole length of the holding profile (2) on both sides, covering the opening (4) of the receptacle profile (5).
