A twist capsule (10) broadly includes: a flexible tape (13), and a pre- emphasis circuit (11) operatively associated with said tape to compensate for attenuation of high-frequency digital waveform constituents attributable to skin effect and/or dielectric loss, such that the operational bandwidth of signal transmitted over said tape may be increased. An equalization circuit (14) may be arranged at the output end of the tape to further extend the operational bandwidth.
La présente invention concerne une capsule torsadée (10) qui comprend, d'un point de vue général, une bande souple (13) et un circuit de préaccentuation (11). Ce circuit est associé de façon opérationnelle à ladite bande dans le but de compenser un affaiblissement des composantes d'une forme d'onde numérique de haute fréquence attribuable à un effet pelliculaire et/ou à une perte diélectrique, de telle sorte que la bande passante opérationnelle d'un signal transmis sur ladite bande puisse être élargie. Un circuit d'égalisation (14) peut être prévu à l'extrémité côté sortie de la bande dans le but d'élargir encore plus la bande passante opérationnelle.
