ABSTRACT OF DISCLOSURE The broadcast receiving apparatus in accordance with the present invention comprises a tuning section to which modulated signals are fed, a first filtering section, which is fed with a signal selected by the tuning section and frequency-converted to an intermediate frequency, to limit the bandwidth of the signal to extract a desired signal, an amplifying section to amplify the output of the first filtering section, and a detection section to detect the output of the amplifying section and convert to a base-band signal, an input through which the tuning section is fed with various modulated signals, a detecting means to detect modulation scheme of modulated signals that have been inputted, and a switching means to switch one or more of the characteristic of the band limiting filter section, the amplifying section, and the detection section depending on the modulated scheme as detected by the detection means. With this construction,the present invention provides multifunctionality to cope with input of analog modulated signals as well as digital signals modulated by various types of modulation schemes by common use or switching of structural components of a broadcast receiving apparatus thereby realizing a multifunctional broadcast receiving apparatus with a simple circuit construction.
L'appareil de réception de signaux de diffusion de la présente invention comporte un bloc de syntonisation auquel des signaux modulés sont transmis, un bloc de filtrage auquel est transmis un signal sélectionné par le bloc de syntonisation qui a été converti à une fréquence intermédiaire pour en limiter la largeur de bande afin d'extraire le signal désiré, un bloc d'amplification servant à amplifier le signal de sortie du bloc de filtrage, et un bloc de détection servant à détecter le signal de sortie du bloc d'amplification et à le convertir en un signal de bande de base. Le bloc de syntonisation est muni d'une entrée servant à recevoir divers signaux modulés. L'appareil comporte également un dispositif de détection servant à déterminer le type de modulation des signaux modulés d'entrée et un dispositif de commutation servant à commuter les caractéristiques du bloc de filtrage à limitation de bande, du bloc d'amplification et du bloc de détection selon le type de modulation déterminé par le dispositif de détection. Avec ce type de construction, la présente invention offre une multifonctionnalité qui permet de prendre en charge des signaux modulés analogiques aussi bien que des signaux numériques modulés selon divers types de modulation en mettant en commun ou en commutant les éléments d'un appareil de réception de signaux de diffusion. On obtient donc un appareil de réception de signaux de diffusion multifonction de construction simple.
