A transmission relay circuit, a broadcast signal relay method, and a signal detection device are disclosed. Preferably, the transmission relay circuit includes a microcontroller, a broadcast signal sensing and discerning circuit configured for determining the broadcast signal selected from a group consisting of (NTSC, ASI, DS-3, SDI, and HD-SDI signals). The method preferably includes the steps of determining a signal type, directing the signal to an analog broadcast signal processing circuit when the signal is determined to be to be an analog video signal, directing the signal to a digital broadcast signal processing circuit when the signal is either a digital video signal, or a digital video transport signal, and relaying the processed signal to a local loop provider. The detection device preferably includes at least a multi-layer printed circuit board with an isolation/buffer amplifier and terminator, and a signal detection circuit for detecting and determining the broadcast signal type.
L'invention concerne un circuit relais de transmission, un procédé de relais de signal de diffusion, et un dispositif de détection de signal. De préférence, le circuit relais de transmission comporte un microcontrôleur, un circuit de détection et de distinction de signal de diffusion conçu pour déterminer le signal de diffusion choisi dans un groupe constitué de (signaux NTSC, ASI, DS-3, SDI et HD-SDI). Le procédé consiste de préférence à déterminer un type de signal, à diriger le signal vers un circuit de traitement de signaux de diffusion analogiques, à diriger le signal vers un circuit de traitement de signaux de diffusion numériques lorsqu'il s'agit d'un signal vidéo numérique, ou un signal de transport vidéo numérique, et à relayer le signal traité vers un fournisseur de boucle locale. Le dispositif de détection comporte de préférence au moins une carte de circuit imprimé multicouche avec un amplificateur isolation/tampon et un terminateur, ainsi qu'un circuit de détection de signal permettant de détecter et de déterminer le type de signal de diffusion.
