Disclosed is a system and method to provide continuity of service in a radio broadcasting system comprising at least one modem using the COFDM technique, comprising the transmission of N time-frequency cells modulated independently of one another. The method comprises at least the following steps: at transmission: a) sending a number N1 of cells conveying signals needed for the transmission of a digitized audio signal S1, b) sending a number N2 of modulated cells to transmit an analog signal S2 of analog audio samples, reception; c) when the signals of the N1 cells cannot be decoded, replacing the digitized audio signal S1 by the analog signal S2 conveyed by the cells N2.
Système et procédé permettant d'assurer la continuité de service dans un système de radiodiffusion comportant au moins un modem utilisant la technique COFDM, comprenant l'émission de N cellules temps-fréquence modulées indépendamment les unes des autres. Le procédé comporte les étapes suivantes: à l'émission: (a) émettre un nombre N1 de cellules véhiculant des signaux nécessaires à la transmission d'un signal audio numérisé S1, (b) émettre un nombre N2 de cellules modulées pour transmettre un signal analogique S2 d'échantillons d'audio analogique, à la réception: (c) lorsque les signaux des cellules N1 ne sont pas décodables, remplacer le signal audio numérisé S1 par le signal analogique S2 véhiculé par les cellules N2.
