A method for removing filtercake from a subterranean borehole comprising drilling the borehole with a drilling fluid that includes additives to form a filtercake having an oxidation-degradable component, preferably a polysaccharide. The filtercake is contacted with a clear brine containing bromine or bromate generating agents to degrade the polymers within the filtercake. The brine contains bromide salts and an oxidant capable of delayed oxidation of the bromide to bromine at downhole conditions.

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de retirer un gâteau de filtration d'un trou de forage souterrain, qui consiste à forer ce trou à l'aide d'un fluide de forage comprenant des additifs, afin de former un gâteau de filtration doté d'un composant dégradable par oxydation, de préférence un polysaccharide. Le gâteau de filtration est mis en contact avec une saumure claire contenant des agents de production de brome et de bromate, afin de dégrader les polymères du gâteau de filtration. La saumure contient des sels de bromure et un oxydant capable de retarder l'oxydation du bromure en brome à des conditions de fond de trou.
