A brush comprises a head (36) including a plurality of bristles (40), an outlet (42) in the head (36) feeding to said bristles (40), a container (12) of paste connected to said head (36), actuating means (18) for feeding paste from the container (12) to the head (36), and a control valve (30) of a flexible plastics material including a diaphragm portion (32) and a nose portion (34) and positioned within the head (36) with the central axis thereof substantially perpendicular to the direction of flow of paste to the head (36), the valve (30) having a normal rest position in which the nose portion (34) engages in, to seal, the outlet (42), the side of the diaphragm portion (32) remote from the nose portion (34) being open to the atmosphere, the arrangement being such that, on operation of the actuating means (18), paste is fed under pressure from the container (12) to the head (36) to distort the diaphragm portion (32) whereby the nose portion (34) is displaced from the outlet (42) and paste is dispensed therethrough, and, on subsequent depressurisation of the paste, the control valve (30) returns to its rest position.
La présente invention concerne une brosse comprenant une tête (36) dotée d'une pluralité de poils (40), un orifice de sortie (42) situé dans la tête (36) qui alimente les poils (40), un récipient (12) à pâte relié à la tête (36), un moyen d'actionnement (18) qui fournit la pâte du récipient (12) vers la tête (36) et une soupape de régulation (30) en matière plastique souple, comprenant une partie diaphragme (32) et une partie saillante (34). Cette soupape de régulation est placée dans la tête (36) et son axe central est sensiblement perpendiculaire à la direction d'écoulement de la pâte vers la tête (36). La soupape de régulation (30) présente une position de repos normale dans laquelle la partie saillante (34) s'engage, de façon à fermer hermétiquement l'orifice de sortie (42). Le côté de la partie diaphragme (32) situé à distance de la partie saillante (34) est ouvert à l'atmosphère. L'agencement est tel que lorsque le moyen d'actionnement (18) fonctionne, la pâte est amenée sous pression, du récipient (12) vers la tête (36), de façon à déformer la partie diaphragme (32) ce qui provoque le retrait de la partie saillante (34) de l'orifice de sortie (42). La pâte est alors distribuée à travers l'orifice de sortie (42) et au cours d'un relâchement ultérieur de la pression de la pâte, la soupape de régulation (30) revient à sa position de repos.
