-7- ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A brush device for a golf cart has a brush mounted on one end of a telescopically extensible support arm, the opposite end of which is secured to the base of a golf cart. A readily releasable locking mechanism retains the support arm in an extended condition. A pivot mounting supports the brush on the support arm so as to be pivotable between a first, erected position, in which the brush is ready for use, and a second, collapsed position, in which the brush is retracted.
