A brush, in particular for an electric toothbrush having a head (3) driven at least in one direction and bristles fastened thereto is characterised in that the ends of at least part of the bristles lie on a strip-shaped or spot-shaped enveloping surface (7) and in that the limiting edge of the enveloping surface (7) formed by the leading bristles in the direction of displacement of the brush head (3) extends at an angle other than a right angle to the direction of displacement of the brush head (3).

L'invention concerne une brosse, notamment une brosse à dents électrique, comportant une tête (3) actionnée dans au moins une direction et des poils fixés dessus. Cette brosse se caractérise en ce que les extrémités d'au moins une partie des poils se trouvent sur une surface enveloppante (7) sous forme de bande ou de trace. L'arête de délimitation de la surface enveloppante (7), formée par les poils se situant à l'avant dans le sens de mouvement de la tête (3) de la brosse, forme un angle autre qu'un angle droit par rapport au sens de mouvement de la tête (3) de la brosse.
