An artificially planted post used for marking a specific location on snow, in order to have this clearly identified. It is inserted vertically into the snow, by drilling or poking a hole for its base, deep enough, so that only its upper, brush like part is exposed above the surface. This part is flexible, self redressing and soft enough to prevent injury from direct contact with it as well as harmless to equipment touching it. Since it doesn't influence speed and direction of objects at contact, it is useful as a safe marker for various on snow activities, as training or racing. It could be used for marking a safe or dangerous passages and areas at various on snow activities. It could be made of materials of various kinds and colors for enhancing its function and visibility.
