ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A brush-like writing instrument is improved in its writing reeling and in its anti-drying property of ink in that a hair of a brush point of the writing instrument is covered by a sleeve-like member for mounting the brush point to provide a clearance between two surfaces one of which is an outer peripheral surface of the brush point covered by the sleeve-like member and the other of which two surfaces is an inner peripheral surfaces of the sleeve- like member, so that the brush point is held bendable also within the sleeve-like member while held bendable outside the sleeve-like member, i.e., so that the brush point is held bendable substantially in its whole length inside and outside the sleeve-like member.
