The invention relates to a brush sealing ring (1) for components that can be moved in relation to one another. The inventive ring comprises a ring-shaped housing (2) and a plurality of aramid fibre-based bristles which are fixed in said housing and protrude radially or axially from the housing contour. The bristles consist of sections (5, 6) of aramid fibre-ropes or threads which are present in a wound arrangement. Each section extends in a loop-shaped manner around a core (11) and away from said core without crossings, whereby the front faces of the section are tangent to the same surface. The sections are arranged in several layers one on top of the other and are fixed with a clamping profile (12) in a frictionally engaged manner.

L'invention concerne une bague d'étanchéité (1) pour des éléments mobiles les uns par rapport aux autres, qui comprend un boîtier (2) annulaire, ainsi qu'une pluralité de poils à base de fibres aramides, fixés dans ledit boîtier et faisant saillie hors du contour du boîtier, dans le sens radial ou axial. Les poils se composent de sections (5, 6) de brins ou de filaments de fibres aramides figurant selon une disposition enroulée. Chaque section s'étend sous forme de boucle autour d'un noyau (11), sans convergence depuis ledit noyau, de manière que ses deux faces de contact touchent la même surface (F) imaginaire à distance du noyau. Les sections sont superposées en plusieurs couches et sont fixées par liaison de friction avec un profilé de serrage (12).
