ABSTRACT Brushes and the method of making the same by first forming a strip embodying a backing sheet with bristles disposed on one face thereof in parallel relation to each other and with ends projecting outwardly from one longitudinal edge of the strip; forming the strip into a predetermined shape; securing the aforementioned bristle ends in a base; and removing the backing sheet from the bristles.
