A buccal delivery system capable of being blended in a normal dry powder process and compressed using a standard tabletting machine, said buccal delivery system comprising a matrix of: (a) an effective amount of one or more active ingredients; (b) an amount of one or more polyethylene glycols or derivatives thereof having a molecular weight between 1000 to 8000 sufficient to provide the required hardness and time for dissolution of the matrix; (c) 0.05-2% by weight of the total matrix of one or more suspending agents; (d) 0.05-2% by weight of the total matrix of one or more flowing agents; and (e) 0.05-2% by weight of the total matrix of one or more sweeteners.
Cette invention concerne un procédé d~administration orale pouvant être associé à un processus normal d~absorption sous forme de gélule et permettant une compression à l~aide d~une presse à comprimés standard, ledit procédé comprenant la matrice suivante : (a) une quantité utile d~un ou de plusieurs ingrédients actifs ; (b) une quantité d~un ou de plusieurs polyéthylèneglycols ou dérivés de ceux-ci ayant une masse moléculaire comprise entre 1000 et 8000 suffisante pour offrir la dureté et le temps de dissolution qu~exige la matrice ; (c) un dosage, de 0,05 à 2 % du poids de la matrice totale, d~un ou de plusieurs agents dispersants ; (d) un dosage, de 0,05 à 2 % du poids de la matrice totale, d~un ou de plusieurs agents d~écoulement ; et (e) un dosage, de 0,05 à 2 % du poids de la matrice totale, d~un ou de plusieurs édulcorants.
