ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention concerns improvements to bucket conveyors of a type which can be swivelled around a substantially vertical axis and which consists of a catenary of buckets wound in a ring, whereby a portion of the path of the buckets is substantially parallel to the ground; the improvements comprise in reciprocal cooperation and coordination with the front transmis- sion pulley at least one auger conveyor positioned at the side of the pulley. The invention also concerns bucket conveyors of a swivelling type to which such improvement is applied.
