ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Improved buckle in particular a sliding buckle which principally consists of a clasp, a transverse connection extending through the clasp, and a toothing installed along one side of the buckle on the front transverse part of the clasp. The toothing is situated on top of a flange protruding out of the surface of the buckle whereby the teeth thus formed show a triangular form in a perpendicular longitudinal section with regard to the buckle, of which one flank stands perpendicular on the surface of the buckle, while a second flank is slanting and extends from the perpendicular flank to the opening of the clasp.
