ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A buckle comprising a male member and a female member releasably engageable therewith, the female member including a pair of resilient arms serving as a release lever and a pair of inwardly directed flanges. The resilient arms each have a stop finger normally spaced apart from but abuttingly engageable with the flange when lateral pull is exerted upon the release lever.
