ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A buckle assembly for vehicle seat belts or harnesses, par- ticularly a child's seat harness. The buckle assembly can be used to interconnect two waist straps, but is particularly intended for use to interconnect a crutch strap and two shoulder straps, each shoulder strap being integral with a waist strap and extending, from two points on the seat, in a loop to the buckle. The buckle provides for positive retention of the assembly components relative to each other, yet is of simplified design rendering the assembly both simple to manufacture and operate.
