In communicating with a dive partner underwater it is first necessary to attracttheir attention. With this invention a distinct sound is generated in a liquid medium. Manually operating this device with a small hand movement produces a sound that cannot be mistaken for environmental noise. The dive partner can then locate thesignaller for further communication.
