The buffer (20) serves for supporting a lift cage (25) and/or a counterweight (23) for the lift cage (25), wherein the lift cage (25) and the counterweight (23) are each movable along a path (V K, V G). The buffer (20) is so constructed that it partly projects into the path (V K) of the lift cage (25) and the path (V G) of the counterweight (23). It produces a mechanical contact with the lift cage (25) when the lift cage (25) falls below a spacing (Z2) with respect to a floor (28). The buffer additionally produces a mechanical contact with the counterweight when the counterweight falls below a distance (Z2.1) with respect to the floor (28).
Le patin (20) sert au soutien d'une cabine d'ascenseur (25) et/ou de contrepoids (23) pour ladite cage d'ascenseur (25), où cette dernière (25) et le contrepoids (23) se déplacent tous deux le long d'une voie (V K, V G). Le patin (20) est construit de façon à faire partiellement saillie dans la voie (V K) de la cage d'ascenseur (25) et celle (V G) du contrepoids (23). Il entre en contact mécanique avec la cage d'ascenseur (25) lorsque cette dernière (25) descend sous un niveau (Z2) par rapport à un plancher (28). De plus, le patin entre en contact mécanique avec le contrepoids lorsque celui-ci descend sous un niveau (Z2.1) par rapport au plancher (28).
