TITLE: A BUGGING PROOF APPARATUS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to a bugging proof apparatus and in particular to one including: a micro-computer having a watch dog timer (WDT) and a sleep device and monitoring a telephone line once per second; a 30-volt detecting circuit composed of a 30-volt zener diode and a NPN transistor and connected with said micro-computer so that when the voltage is higher than 30 volts, said transistor will be conducted and will transmit a low potential signal to said micro-computer; a 1-volt detecting circuit including a silicon diode and a NPN transistor and connected with said micro-computer so that when the voltage is higher than 1 volt, said transistor will be conducted and will transmit a low potential signal to said micro-computer; a disturbing circuit being a filtering circuit comprising two resistors and a capacitor which may convert a series of 0 and 1 to an analogue signal thus producing dual tone multi-frequency (DTMF), said analogue signal being amplified by a NPN transistor and then transmitted to the telephone line so that the telephone office will receive the signal of the push button "#"; an alarming circuit mainly composed of a NPN transistor and a buzzer and connected with said micro-computer and being able. to receive square waves at about 1KHZ from said micro-computer, said square waves being amplified by said transistor to actuate the buzzer to produce a warning; and a use detecting circuit consisting of a bridge rectifier and a photoelectric coupler, said photoelectric coupler consisting of a LED and a phototransistor so that when the telephone is in use by a subscriber, current over 10mA may flow through the bridge rectifier and the photoelectric coupler thereby conducting the phototransistor connected with the receiving end of said micro-computer and producing a low potential signal, whereby when the telephone line is bugged or used illegally, said micro-computer will actuate said disturbing circuit and said alarming circuit so as to make it impossible to dial correctly and send out a warning to the subscriber, and when the telephone line is disconnected with the telephone office, said micro-computer will actuate said alarming circuit to produce a warning to arouse the attention of the subscriber.
