A building exterior finishing component includes a core of an insulating material. There is a coating on the core. The coating is a light weight cementitious mixture including concrete with a polymer resin and unwoven fibers disbursed throughout the coating. The component is made by forming a core of an insulating material having a predetermined shape. A cementitious mixture of water, aggregate, a polymer resin and unwoven reinforcing fibers is coated on a portion of the core. The coating is allowed to set on the core forming a hard surface on the portion of the core. Typically the component is made at a first site by coating an insulating core with cementitious mixture and allowing the mixture to dry. A building is erected at a second site. The component is transported from the first site to the second site and connected to the exterior of the building. There is also an apparatus for making building components. A dispensing device dispenses a cementitious mixture onto a solid core. A screed is spaced-apart from the core. A conveyor moves the core relative to the screed, thereby coating the core with the cementitious coating.

Un revêtement du noyau est constitué d'un mélange de ciment léger fait de béton en résine de polymères et en fibres non tissées. Pour fabriquer le composant, on forme un noyau d'isolant de forme prédéterminée. Un mélange cimentaire d'eau, de granulat, de résine de polymères et de fibres de renforcement non tissées est appliqué sur une partie du noyau. On laisse reposer ce revêtement sur le noyau pour qu'il y forme une surface dure. Normalement, on élabore ce composant à un premier emplacement en enduisant un noyau d'isolant d'un mélange cimentaire mis à sécher. Le bâtiment, quant à lui, est érigé à un deuxième emplacement. On transporte ensuite le composant du premier au deuxième emplacement et on le met en place sur la surface extérieure du bâtiment. Il est également question d'un appareil destiné à fabriquer ces composants de bâtiment. Un dispositif sert à distribuer un mélange cimentaire sur un noyau solide. Une règle à araser le béton est placée à une certaine distance du noyau. Un convoyeur déplace le noyau par rapport à cette règle qui enduit le noyau du revêtement cimentaire.
