ABSTRACT A building construction has a series of tongued and grooved planks are arranged one above the other with end faces joined vertically is characterized in that some preferably all the vertical joints include inner sealing means to seal the inner portions of the end faces one to the other or to vertical structural members so that air may enter a joint but is substantially prevented from passing through the inner sealing means. Interconnecting means join the planks and the vertical structural members and some preferably all joints base cover means including air entry means to permit air entry but limit or prevent precipatation entry.
