The invention provides a building material composition which is particularly suitable for use as a bitumen-free sealant for construction sealing and comprises a polymer dispersion or a corresponding redispersion powder, based in particular on preferably aqueously redispersible emulsion polymers, together with polystyrene particles, ceramic and synthetic hollow microspheres, and also, if desired, at least one binder and, if desired, further additives. The sealant of the invention can be formulated in principle as a 1-component or 2-component application system. The bitumen-free building material composition of the invention not only has excellent sealing properties, such as can conventionally be achieved only with bituminous sealants, but also, in particular, an excellent contraction behaviour after application.

L~invention a pour objet une composition de matériau de construction destinée notamment à une utilisation en tant que matériau d~étanchéité ne contenant pas de bitume pour l~imperméabilisation de bâtiments, ainsi qu~une dispersion polymérique ou une poudre de redispersion équivalente, notamment à base d'une émulsion polymérique redispersable de préférence aqueuse, comprenant également des particules de polystyrène, des microsphères céramiques et synthétiques, ainsi qu~éventuellement au moins un liant et éventuellement des additifs supplémentaires. Le matériau d'étanchéité selon l~invention peut principalement être formulé en tant que système d~application de 1 K ou de 2 K. La composition de matériau de construction ne contenant pas de bitume selon l~invention présente non seulement d'excellentes propriétés d'étanchéité, ne pouvant traditionnellement être atteintes qu'avec des matériaux d'étanchéité contenant du bitume, mais également un excellent comportement de retrait après application.
