A method of manufacturing a building product from a mix (6) including particulate material and a thermoplastic binder which comprises heating the mix at least to a temperature at which the thermoplastic binder in the mix liquefies, subjecting the heated thermoplastic mix to a pressing action that shapes the heated mix, and cooling the shaped heated thermoplastic mix to solidify the thermoplastic binder and form the product (Figure 4).
L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un matériau de construction à partir d'un mélange (6) renfermant une matière particulaire et un liant thermoplastique. Ce procédé consiste à chauffer le mélange au moins à une température à laquelle le liant thermoplastique du mélange se liquéfie, à soumettre le mélange thermoplastique chauffé à une force de pressage permettant de donner une forme au mélange chauffé, et à refroidir le mélange thermoplastique chauffé et formé afin de solidifier le liant thermoplastique et de former le matériau (Fig. 4).
