Abstract This invention relates to a building resembling a log building in appearance, in which the wall is formed by a framework (3, 4) and covering panels (5, 6) fastened on the internal and external sides of the framework. A corner construction typical of a log building is pro- vided in a simple manner in such a way that the inter- nal and external covering panels (5, 6) are joined at the corners of the building by means of timber joints, and the space between adjacent covering panels is filled with a covering piece (9). (Figure 3)
