A bulk bag for the storage and transport of bulk materials, comprises: a bottom panel; a plurality of side panels; a pair of substantially parallel collapsible tubular guide members (4), secured to the top of a side panel; each end of each tubular guide member (4) supporting a lifting strap (26) and connected together by a first spacer (6); wherein the first spacer (6) comprises at least one axially stiff elongate member (32) and is provided with a pair of jaws (7, 9) at each end, each pair of jaws being biased to the open position by spring means (10); whereby when the jaws are in the closed position they will cause each tubular member to lie flat and when the jaws are in the open position they cause or permit the tubular members to adopt a shape which is suitable for receiving a tine (28) of a fork-lift. Other aspects of the invention provide a support device for modifying a conventional bulk bag, and a spacer for use in the bag or support device.
L'invention concerne un sac grande capacité pour le stockage et le transport de matériaux volumineux comprenant un panneau inférieur, une pluralité de panneaux latéraux et une paire d'éléments de guidage tubulaires pliables sensiblement parallèles (4), fixés à la partie supérieure d'un panneau latéral. Les extrémités des éléments de guidage tubulaires (4) soutiennent chacune une sangle de levage (26) et sont reliées ensemble au moyen d'un premier espaceur (6). Le premier espaceur (6) comprend au moins un élément raide allongé dans le sens axial (32) et est doté d'une paire de mâchoires (7, 9) au niveau de chaque extrémité, chaque paire de mâchoires étant maintenue en position ouverte grâce à une sollicitation exercée par des moyens faisant ressort (10). Lorsque les mâchoires sont en position fermée, chaque élément tubulaire se trouve automatiquement à plat lorsque les mâchoires sont en position ouverte, les éléments tubulaires ont automatiquement ou facultativement une forme qui convient pour recevoir une dent (28) d'un lève-palette. D'autres aspects de l'invention concernent un dispositif de support permettant de modifier un sac grande capacité classique, et un espaceur à utiliser dans le sac ou dans dispositif de support.
